Eve hosts an online book club that celebrates books in translation. The club began in January 2020. By the end of the year, we will have read and discussed six fiction books in translation. The schedule is one every two months (Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/June, July/Aug, Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec).
Ongoing discussions take place in a private Slack group and we meet live once on Zoom for each book. We also have live/recorded interviews with authors and translators of the books we read or other special events. Join us to get access (it’s free!).
With over 300 members, as a group, we read in 40 languages from Afrikaans and Arabic to Yoruba and many in between. Members vote together to select the books we read. If you want to participate, sign up here! The 2021 book selection is exciting!
