Bodeux Offers Webinar in ATA’s Back-to-Business Basics Series: Maintain Your Professional Language Skills

Eve Bodeux, a recognized expert in helping language professionals maintain and improve their language skills, presented a webinar on December 7, 2021, for the American Translators Association as part of the Back-to-Basics webinar series. Bodeux is also the author of the book Maintaining Your Second Language: practical and productive strategies for translators, teachers, interpreters and other language lovers. The webinar offered strategies on how to continually strengthen expertise in a professional translator or interpreter’s working languages. Attendees learned to define a framework for maintaining their language skills, were introduced to the five areas of focus for language maintenance, and received information on how to set up a plan to assess their language progress.
